CDRFS is the software that makes CD-R (the "R" means recordable) devices mountable to your operating system. What this means is that with CDRFS, you can use a CD-R or CD-ROM drive just like a floppy disk drive. It is no longer neccessary to start formatting or pre-mastering application software before writing data to a CD-R disc. To read and write files on a CDRFS disc, simply insert a disc into the CD-R drive and then drag and drop files just as you would with a floppy disk. Although this software will work with most Sony CD-R and CD-ROM drives, consult the accompanying help file for more information on what models are supported.
